Partner FAQ / terms
Questions, answered
The short version of how the program works, what it costs, and what to expect as an approved partner.
Commercial, business-to-business invoices: a real, documented invoice or contract that isn't already placed with another agency. We don't take consumer debt, and we don't take healthcare debt. If a client is owed money by another business and has the paperwork to back it up, it's in scope.
Nothing. There's no fee to join, no membership dues, and no fee per referral. You make a clean introduction, and we do the recovery work on contingency, which means your client pays nothing unless we collect. You are never invoiced for anything.
Yes, and you're encouraged to tell them, because it's a service you're offering them. Your client signs the placement, so nothing happens without their approval. You introduce us; we handle their customer professionally. The partner who made the introduction is never named to the debtor unless you choose to be.
You earn 10% of our recovery fee on every dollar we collect for a client you refer, for the life of the client. Because our commercial fee averages about 15% of what we collect, that works out to roughly 1.5% of the money we actually recover — so your earnings track what we collect, not the face value of the invoices. On top of that, for every client you refer with more than $300,000 in signed accounts, you earn an automatic $1,500 bonus. Your commission is paid as we recover; the bonus is per unique referred business (EIN-verified) that reaches $300,000 in signed accounts. Withdrawn or unqualified placements don't count. A CPA or accountant whose independence rules restrict referral fees can instead elect at approval to credit the fee to their client's contingency rate.
Four things: it's commercial / B2B (one business owes another), it is a real, worthwhile balance, it is backed by a real documented invoice or contract, and it's not already placed with another collection agency. If you're unsure, submit it anyway, we'll tell you quickly.
Yes. Recovery is handled by a licensed, established third-party commercial collection agency and member of ACA International, working commercial B2B accounts only. Everything is handled professionally and only after the client approves the placement. (Invoice Recovery Network is a service of Account Recovery Financial Solutions, LLC.)
Frame it as a resource, not a sale: "I work with a licensed commercial recovery firm that handles past-due B2B invoices professionally, on contingency. Want me to hand this one to them?" You stay the trusted advisor who knew exactly who to call; we do the collecting.
This is professional commercial recovery, not aggressive consumer collections. We handle your client's customer with care, because it's your name on the introduction. Your client stays in control, sees clear status updates, and can pause a placement at any time.
Then it costs nothing. We work on contingency, so if we don't recover the money, your client owes nothing and neither do you. There's no downside to handing us an account that was already written off.
No. You're making an introduction, not collecting the debt. We are the licensed agency that does the recovery work. You simply point us at a qualified commercial account.
Carefully and only for the recovery you refer. You share just enough to make the introduction (a business name, a contact, and a rough sense of the balance); we collect the rest directly from your client once they approve. Information is transmitted over encrypted connections, used only to work the placed account, and never sold or shared for any other purpose. See our Privacy Policy for details.
It varies by account. Many commercial balances resolve within weeks to a few months once your client approves the placement, but some take longer depending on the debtor and the documentation. You can follow the status of every referral in your portal, and you earn as we collect — there's no fixed timeline we'd promise.
Disputes are handled professionally by the licensed agency as part of the process. If an account ever warrants escalation beyond standard commercial recovery, that decision is made with your client — never automatically, and never anything you have to manage. Your role ends at the introduction.

Membership is selective. We admit a limited number of qualified advisors per market, and approve qualified applicants quickly.
